Commtouch® (NASDAQ:CTCH), a leading messaging and Web security technology provider, today announced the promotion of Ido Hadari to the newly created position of chief operating officer. The company also announced several other management team updates.
“Ido Hadari is a proven leader who has demonstrated his capabilities and accomplishments in driving our international business during his two years at Commtouch,” said Gideon Mantel, Commtouch’s chief executive officer and chairman of the board. “Given our recent success and anticipated increase in business opportunities worldwide, we decided to promote Ido and place him in charge of global sales, support and marketing activities.”
Commtouch continues to strategically evolve its organizational structure in preparation for its intended growth trajectory. Additional management changes include:
The promotion of Asaf Greiner to vice president of products, assuming responsibility for all messaging security products. This is in addition to the Web security product line that he has been overseeing since early 2008.
The appointment of Ofer Tal to the position of vice president, international sales and business development, replacing Mr. Hadari in that role. Mr. Tal brings a decade of international sales and business development management experience at various companies, most recently at Gigaspaces as head of regional sales and business development, and prior to that at Interwise.
