Del Monte Pet Products, with Pup-Peroni®, Meow Mix® and 9Lives®, Sponsor Macy's 23rd Annual Holiday Pet Adoption Windows

Pup-Peroni®, Meow Mix® and 9Lives® are helping local dogs and cats find loving homes just in time for the holidays. Once again, Del Monte Pet Products will return as presenting sponsor of Macy’s Union Square 23rd Annual Holiday Pet Adoption Windows, benefitting the San Francisco SPCA. As a part of San Francisco-based Del Monte Foods and its Pet Products division, Pup-Peroni®, Meow Mix® and 9Lives® will help to find pet parents for our four-legged friends from November 20 through January 3.

During the six weeks that the Holiday Pet Adoption Windows will run at Macy’s Union Square, Del Monte will help spread the word about the benefits of pet adoption. The Company will host interactive in-store pet-themed activities, including an appearance by 9Lives’® Morris the Cat – “the most recognizable cat in the world” – and a chance to let the dog in your life know how much you love him by creating a delicious Pup-Peroni® holiday gift. Del Monte will also provide gift bags filled with pet food samples to new pet parents who adopt a dog or cat at Macy’s.

The Holiday Windows at Macy’s Union Square have become a not-to-be missed attraction during the holiday season. Each year, thousands of shoppers gather around the magnificently designed windows to visit the adorable kittens and puppies that are available for immediate adoption through the San Francisco SPCA. For the past six years, the program has been a success with more than 1,500 animals adopted from the Adoption Center at Macy's and more than $200,000 raised for the SF/SPCA.
