Kaplan Higher Education Announces New Home Office Location

Kaplan Higher Education is relocating its home offices to 225 W. Wacker Drive in Chicago to accommodate its fast-growing employee population. More than 200 employees currently located at 311 S. Wacker Drive will be housed in the new space beginning in July.

Kaplan Higher Education will occupy three floors in the 31-story facility, equaling approximately 77,000 square feet. The new space has capacity to accommodate nearly double the number of current employees.

“Our focus was to find a resourceful office space that remains convenient to our employees, allowing them flexibility in their choice of transportation options while meeting a variety of employee needs through multiple on-site and area amenities,” Jeffrey J. The 225 W. Wacker facility is owned by 225 West Wacker Acquisition Company and managed by Jones Lang LaSalle. On-site amenities include Caffe Baci, sundry shop, ATM and a brand new amenity floor featuring conference facilities, fitness center, concierge services and an outdoor terrace that will be named the Kaplan Pavilion. 225 W. Wacker is close to all forms of public transportation and offers attached parking with Lower Wacker Drive access. The building was recently awarded LEED EB Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
