Item 8.01.  Other Events.

 

On March 5, 2008, Russell A. Whitney, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Whitney Information Network, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Board of Directors that he will be taking a 45-day medical leave of absence, effective immediately.  John Kane, Interim President and a director of the Company, will serve as acting Chairman of the Board of Directors during Mr. Whitney’s absence.
