Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 23, 2008, Huntsman Corporation (the “Company”) filed a petition in the District Court of Montgomery County, Texas against Apollo Management, L.L.C. and certain of its affiliates. A copy of the petition is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
On the same day, the Company issued a press release relating to the filing of the petition. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated herein by reference.
