Item 8.01. Other Events

Sourcefire, Inc. (“Sourcefire” or the “Company”) announced on March 22, 2007 that the underwriters of its recent initial public offering (the “Offering”) have exercised in full their over-allotment option, which closed on March 21, 2007, to purchase an additional 865,500 shares of Sourcefire common stock, bringing the total proceeds received by Sourcefire in the Offering to approximately $86.3 million.

A copy of the Company’s press release dated March 22, 2007 is attached herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
