Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement
On October 18, 2005 Nanophase Technologies Corporation entered into a Lease Amendment amending its current lease for its facilities in Romeoville, Illinois, which, among other things, extended the term of such lease through December 31, 2015 (with the option to extend the term for two additional five year periods) and granted Nanophase an option to purchase such facility in certain instances.
