Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 31, 2006, SUPERVALU INC. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the closing of an offering of $500 million in aggregate principal amount of the Company’s 7.50% Senior Notes due 2014. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
