Item 8.01

Other Events

As previously reported, one of three presses at the Company’s Richmond Times-Dispatch printing facility near Richmond, Virginia, caught fire in the second quarter of 2007; damage to the remainder of the facility was minimal. On December 20, 2007, the Company reached a final settlement of approximately $48 million with its insurance carrier to cover the property damage, business interruption, and certain out-of-pocket clean-up expenses related to the fire.
