Item 8.01.

Other Events.

On September 27, 2010, Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”) confirmed that it began the gradual restart of Line 6B of its Lakehead system on Monday, September 27, 2010. The restart is a staged process and is being conducted in accordance with the previously approved Restart Plan accepted by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (“PHMSA”) as amended September 22, 2010.
