On April 19, 2005, SUPERVALU INC. issued a News Release announcing its financial
results for the fiscal year ended February 26, 2005. A copy of the News Release
issued by SUPERVALU INC. in connection with this Item 2.02 is attached as
Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
