On February 17, 2010, Umpqua Holdings Corporation (the “Company”) announced that it redeemed the entire amount of Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A, issued to the U.S. Treasury pursuant to the Troubled Asset Relief Program Capital Purchase Program. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
