Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers: Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On December 4, 2008, Wausau Paper Corp. announced that Stuart R. Carlson will retire from his position as Executive Vice President—Administration effective December 31, 2008, and that Scott P. Doescher, currently Senior Vice President—Finance, will be promoted to Executive Vice President—Finance effective January 1, 2009. Mr. Doescher will continue to be compensated under present arrangements until he begins his service as Executive Vice President—Finance on January 1, 2009.
