Associates:
I’m pleased to announce that we have reached an important decision to adjust employee stock options as it relates to the special $6 cash dividend as part of the TD Waterhouse acquisition. When the Company pays the planned dividend, we will adjust outstanding stock options, both vested and unvested, to preserve their pre-dividend economic value. We’re planning an Associate Assembly soon to discuss the mechanics of the adjustment calculation once that information is finalized.
Remember, whether you choose to exercise vested options before or after the dividend adjustment will be up to you.
Please continue to keep an eye out for more information.
Thanks,
-s- JOE MOGLIA
