Item 8.01 — Other Events
On November 19, 2007, the Board of Directors of Park National Corporation (“Park”) declared a $0.94 per share regular quarterly cash dividend in
respect of Park’s common shares. The dividend is payable on January 3, 2008 to shareholders of
record as of the close of business on December 19, 2007. The new quarterly dividend rate of $0.94
per share is 1.1 percent higher than the previous quarterly dividend rate of $0.93 per share.
