BANGALORE, INDIA--March 24, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Rolls-Royce Group plc (OTC:RYCEY) (London, England) has been awarded the second contract in two years by India's state-owned natural gas company GAIL (India) Limited (BSE:532155) (New Delhi). Rolls-Royce will supply GAIL with power systems for a 500-kilometer regasified LNG pipeline. The gas generators will be manufactured at Rolls-Royce's manufacturing facility in Montreal, Quebec, and packaged at Mount Vernon, Ohio. The compressors will also be manufactured at Mount Vernon. All the equipment included in the new contract is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2011.
