Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. Completes Public Offering of Common Stock

Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (NYSE: IVR) (the “Company”) today announced the completion of its public offering of 12,000,000 shares of common stock and issuance of an additional 1,800,000 shares of common stock pursuant to the underwriters’ full exercise of their over-allotment option. The total offering of 13,800,000 shares produced gross proceeds of approximately $286.4 million.

The Company expects to use the net proceeds from this offering to make additional acquisitions of residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and mortgage loans, on a leveraged basis, and for other general corporate purposes.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Inc., JMP Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC served as co-managers.
