European Factors -- Shares seen mixed; earnings eyed

LONDON, Oct 21 (Reuters) - European shares are set for a mixed open on Thursday as investors take a cautious stance ahead of slew of earnings news including U.S. group Caterpillar which will provide some insight into the health of the construction sector.
