CANADA STOCKS-Oil rebound helps TSX turn higher

TORONTO, May 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index clawed higher on Thursday afternoon from a steep drop earlier in the day as battered energy shares erased losses on a rebound in oil prices.
