Lowe’s Companies (NYSE:LOW) is also up 5.50% to $33.73 per share due to increased purchase of homebuilding materials in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Meanwhile Cablevision Systems (NYSE:CVC) is down 1.78% to $13.79 after being sued for $250 million after outages during Hurricane Sandy.
