We are removing a dividend stock from our recommended list today.

Name Being Removed
Abbott Labs (ABT) is being taken off our Best Dividend Stocks list following a nice run for the shares since our recommendation. We do still like the shares, but would not currently add to positions at current levels. The dividend yield is in the lower 3% yield levels as the company get set to split in two at the beginning of the year. We prefer investors look elsewhere with new capital as we take another look at the shares post-split and whether we see the shares in a great spot to be re-recommended. This is not a “sell” call, but simply a “hold” at these levels.
