Citi Stock Rises On Plan To Cut Costs, 11,000 Jobs
Citigroup (C) plans to cut 4% of its global staff, or about 11,000 jobs in an effort to save as much as $1.1 billion a year. It's the first major changes announced since the board forced out CEO Vikram Pandit in October.
