Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI), the New York City-based satellite radio company with more than 20 million subscribers, is marginally lower in mid-day trading today. At last check, SIRI was trading 0.68% lower at $2.90 on volume of 13.66 million, which is well below the daily average volume of 72.24 million.
SIRI has slipped after failing to break through $3 resistance level. The stock is now trading at $2.90 support level. If it falls below this level then the next support level is at $2.80. Last week, SIRI had broken through $2.80, however, the stock failed to continue the upward momentum.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT), the maker of Windows operating system, is also marginally lower in mid-day trading, extending its losses for the week. MSFT has fallen this week amid reports that sales of the company’s new Windows 8 operating system have disappointed analysts.
At last check, MSFT was trading 0.56% lower at $26.71 on volume of 15.05 million, which is a little over a quarter of the daily average volume of 57.49 million. The stock has fallen more than 2.6% for the week. MSFT currently has support at around $26.50. A strong bearish trend will be established if the stock falls below this level.
