Iraq's Kurdistan Begins Independently Exporting Crude Oil Through Turkey

ISTANBUL--January 10, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has started to export crude directly to world markets through Turkey. "The KRG gave us permission to start exports from the Taq Taq oil field," said Mehmet Sepil, the president of Anglo-Turkish oil firm Genel Energy (LN:GENL), said to Reuters News Agency. Other companies featured: BP plc (NYSE:BP) , ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) , Eni SpA (NYSE:E) , Royal Dutch Shell plc (NYSE:RDS.A)
