Platinum Selling Singer and Guitarist Orianthi Releases The Official Music Video for the Title Track off Her New Album
PRLog - Jun 20, 2013 - HOLLYWOOD -- Platinum selling solo artist and Australian guitarist Orianthi (Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Carrie Underwood) will World Premiere the music video for "Heaven In This Hell", the title track off her new solo album (released on Robo Records and distributed by Universal/Fontana), today on Vevo.com. Video Link: "Heaven In This Hell" Produced by Grammy and Golden Globe winning artist/producer Dave Stewart, the video was directed by Paul Boyd (Deadmau5, Neon Trees) head of production at Weapons of Mass Entertainment. Alongside Orianthi, the video features Glen Sobel (drummer for Alice Cooper), Tommy Henriksen (guitarist for Alice Cooper) and Cyril Niccolai (of The Fairchilds) who plays her Voodoo Cowboy love interest.
“Heaven In This Hell” the album's title track, is a blues-rooted rock song which features swampy guitar riffs with a Zeppelin-esque vibe. The song was written with Dave Stewart, Gavin Brown (Lady Gaga, New Kids on the Block and Barenaked Ladies) and John Feldman (lead singer/guitarist for Goldfinger, producer/songwriter Papa Roach, Panic! at the Disco and Plain White T's). "The video is about the spell that love puts you under, " said Orianthi. "It's an addiction; it's heaven in this hell" she continued.
