Julie Henderson Promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Communications Officer for 21st Century Fox

News Corporation (NASDAQ: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV) today announced that Julie Henderson, the Company’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer, will be elevated to the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Communications Officer of 21st Century Fox, the media and entertainment entity that will be formed as a result of News Corporation’s separation into two distinct publicly traded companies.

Ms. Henderson will continue to serve as the chief spokesperson for the Company, leading all global communications initiatives, specifically in support of corporate financial matters, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues and litigation. As part of her new role, she will also be responsible for leading the Company’s efforts to build and manage the 21st Century Fox corporate brand among key audiences worldwide.

Ms. Henderson has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer of News Corporation since January 2012, and previously served as its Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining the corporate office, Ms. Henderson was Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications for the Company's former Fox Interactive Media (FIM) unit. She previously ran the digital division at mPRm Public Relations, where she focused on providing counsel to companies at the convergence of entertainment and technology.
