US bonds edge lower ahead of budget deficit data

U.S. Treasury notes moved marginally lower on Monday, ahead of details of the Treasury's budget deficit for July at 2 p.m. ET. The yield on 10-year benchmark Treasurys stood at 2.589 percent.
