PRLog - Oct. 14, 2013 - PORTLAND, Ore. -- Professional auctioneer, Grant Putnam and the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) announces the Portland Metro Chapter Banquet & Auction. The CCA is an organization of strong state chapters comprised of avid recreational fishermen who have banded together to address conservation issues nationally and within their respective states.
The outdoor sports enthusiasts and conservationists who make up the organization recognize that only a concerted, on-going effort of major proportions will save the natural resources of our coastal waters from certain depletion or destruction. They are dedicated to preventing that from happening through education, legislative, and restoration programs.
CCA Oregon, from its small beginnings 6 years ago, has grown leaps and bounds due to the concern over the health of our endangered fish populations by sportsmen and sportswomen, conservationists and the like.
The Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center in Portland is the site of our sixth annual banquet to benefit the Oregon Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. It's located by the Portland Zoo at 4033 SW Canyon Road. There is free parking with a short walk to Miller Hall.
Dress is casual.
Doors open at 5:30pm for registration and check-in
