Australian Dollar Falls to Multi-Year Lows After Soft Employment Report

The Australian dollar fell to its lowest levels against the U.S. dollar since August 2010 on Thursday, on the heels of disappointing employment data. The Australian Bureau of Statistics late Wednesday reported that the number of people employed unexpectedly fell by 22,600 in December, missing expectations of a rise of 7.5K.
