Acxiom to Provide Exelon Information Technology Services

Acxiom IT (Nasdaq: ACXM), a provider of infrastructure management solutions, today announced that it has been selected by leading U.S. competitive energy provider Exelon to manage the organization’s Information Technology and disaster recovery environments that support several mission critical applications.

Acxiom won a competitive procurement process involving several major service providers based on its 40+ year history of managing large, highly complex mainframe environments and its ability to deliver cost efficiencies. Acxiom will manage 3,000 mainframe MIPS (million instructions per second) from its Chicago and Conway area data centers.
