Bally’s iVIEW Display Manager (DM) picture-in-picture-style player-user interface and Elite Bonusing Suite (EBS) will be deployed floor-wide on 1,600 video lottery terminals, enabling interactive, floor-wide player-bonusing events.

Miami Valley Gaming will use EBS to add excitement across its iVIEW network using real-time promotions such as Virtual Racing, DM Tournaments, Virtual Racing NASCAR, Flex Rewards, U-Spin bonusing, and Power Winners.

The Ohio property, a joint venture between Delaware North Companies Gaming & Entertainment and Churchill Downs Inc., opened in December. It features 1,600 state-of-the-art video lottery terminals, a racing simulcast center, several restaurants, and Miami Valley Raceway, a 5/8-mile harness racetrack.

“We chose Bally systems following a very thorough and competitive joint evaluation process between Churchill Downs and Delaware North that included deep discussions surrounding value and ROI specifically for the Ohio market,” said Churchill Downs Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations Austin Miller.

Added Delaware North Companies Gaming & Entertainment President Brian Hansberry: “We are excited to continue working with Bally to provide our players with a tremendous gaming experience. Bally replaced a previous gaming system at one of our other properties in 2012, and that served us extremely well given the competitive market conditions.”

EBS, when combined with iVIEW DM, will add dramatic new levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot-play experience. The EBS applications deliver floor-wide, personalized promotions, second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards, all without interrupting play on the base game.

These solutions enable players to spin wheels, select and root for their favorite contest-driven car or horse, and participate in instant floor-wide slot tournaments. EBS applications can increase coin-in, carded play, new card signups, and time on device at casinos across the U.S.

“Miami Valley is committed to providing the best gaming entertainment experience possible, and we believe that Bally systems will help fulfill this commitment to our customers,” said Jim Simms, President and General Manager of Miami Valley Gaming.

Miami Valley also selected a host of products from Bally’s broad systems portfolio, including:

  • SDS slot management system to manage casino, slots, and hospitality data.
  • CMP player-tracking system.
  • Soft GMU solution to increase operational efficiency.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) application to analyze and visualize data.
  • Promotional Kiosk, a customizable solution, to streamline traffic and offer new and exciting ways to reward players.
  • Service Tracking Manager automated dispatch and alert system.
  • CoolSignmedia-management solution for centralized management across the casino.
  • Power Promotions to give the casino the ability to extend electronic incentive cash offers to its players at the point of play.
  • Bally applications for mobile websites and apps.

“We are honored that Miami Valley has chosen Bally for its systems solutions,” said Bally Technologies President and Chief Executive Officer Ramesh Srinivasan. “These systems solutions selected by Miami Valley create floor-wide excitement for patrons, and measurable ROI and increased profitability for casino operators around the world.”
