EXCO Resources, Inc. Announces Offering of Notes

EXCO Resources, Inc. (NYSE:XCO) (“EXCO”) today announced that, subject to market conditions, it intends to publicly offer $400.0 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2022 (the “Notes”). The offering and sale of the Notes will be conducted pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 and preliminary prospectus supplement filed today with the Securities and Exchange Commission. EXCO intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay all outstanding amounts under the term loan, and the remainder will be used to reduce the revolving commitment under EXCO’s Amended and Restated Credit Agreement.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and BMO Capital Markets Corp. will act as joint book-running managers for the Notes offering.
