PRLog - Apr. 8, 2014 - AURORA, Colo. -- National Testing Network (NTN), the leader in outsourced testing for public safety departments, announces a new testing location in partnership with the Specialized Testing Center located at the Community College of Aurora, Center of Simulation, 9235 East 10th Drive, Building 859, Ste. 154, Aurora, CO 80010.

This new testing location will deliver employment testing for firefighter, law enforcement officer, corrections officer and emergency communications officer applicant testing services.

The National Testing Network is the sister company of Ergometrics & Applied Personnel Research, Inc., an organization that has 32 years of expertise in testing public service professions, and specializes in video-simulation testing, that exposes applicants to real experiences they would encounter on the job.  The tests are specifically designed to identify applicants with the necessary decision making skills and critical thinking aptitude to perform well under pressure in a career in public safety.

National Testing Network will offer entry-level testing for city, county and state agencies looking to enhance their application process through a centralized, outsourced, employee testing location.  This new location will serve public service agencies and applicants located in the Aurora and Denver, Colorado areas.

“This new test site will be a helpful resource for job seekers looking for a career in public safety,” said National Testing Network President, Carl Swander, Ph.D.  “We are pleased to be a part of this community, and look forward to serving local applicants and public safety departments in Colorado.”

The National Testing Network offers real-time applicant score reports, making applicant’s test scores readily available to employers who are looking to hire new employees.  This allows NTN to provide its clients with the most current applicant information, and the necessary test score data to enable public service departments to quickly make good hiring decisions.

When asked about this new NTN testing site, the local Fire Science Technology Coordinator, Mark Stephenson, M.P.A., explained, “The Community College of Aurora has the important role of preparing our students—through our fire and police academies—to enter into the exciting and rewarding field of public safety.  Our partnership with NTN is a logical extension of this essential function.  It allows us the opportunity to help deliver one more component of the process of starting a new career for our students and applicants in our community.”
