Edward Teplitz Appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of Natuzzi Americas

Natuzzi Group (NYSE:NTZ) announces that Edward Teplitz has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer Natuzzi Americas.

The appointment of Mr. Teplitz is part of the new commercial organization, both at a centralized level and in local markets, that is calibrated based on growth forecasts, as contemplated by the Business Plan 2014-2016 that was recently approved by the Natuzzi SpA board of directors.

In his new position, Edward Teplitz is responsible for sales in the Americas, other than Brazil, and reports to Marco Saltalamacchia, Chief Commercial Officer of the Natuzzi Group.

“I am enthusiastic about joining the Natuzzi Group, a global leader in the furniture market, and I will be totally focused on the successful implementation of our 2014-2016 Business Plan. My goal is to strengthen our team and structure in the Americas, supporting all the distinguishing and unique features that have made Natuzzi a worldwide symbol of Italian style,” said Teplitz.

Mr. Teplitz was President of Furniture Brands International Inc. from 2007 until June 2013. He previously held positions of increasing responsibility with Ethan Allen Interiors Inc.
