Typically an average Thursday in Vegas is just a build up to the weekend, however Memorial Day Weekend hits the ground running with some epic parties. Most notable on Thursday this year during the day is at Encore Beach Club with one of the most exciting DJ prospects playing – ZEDD. Encore Beach is one of the most premium daylclubs in town. Located at Encore Hotel it features opulent decor, stunning multilevel private cabanas and Bungalows that will surely feature some famous names. In the evening one of the top events is at Vegas’s foremost popular clubs – XS Las Vegas. Now the weekend is in full swing Friday is massive. There are so many venues and events to attend its difficult to break them all down. Highlights are certainly during the day with the incomparable, cake throwing, DJ / Entertainer Steve Aoki at Wet Republic Ultra Pool. Wet Republic this year features a raft of new Luxury Bungalows making the party even more VIP for the many thousands who will attend. Marquee at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel features a day and night feast with Cedric Gervais at the Dayclub and Benny Benassi at the Nightclub. Finally one of Vegas newest and most premium clubs is the $120m uber club Hakkasan. Saturday is the big day for Memorial Day weekend. The list of incredible events is outstanding and includes Alesso at the newly built Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay, Kaskade at Marquee Las Vegas and the EDM King Tiesto at Wet Republic. In addition fans favourite Major Lazer plays host at Tryst featuring a 60ft Waterfall directly inside the club. Possibly the biggest event on Saturday is David Guetta at XS Las Vegas in the Wynn Hotel. Guetta is now somewhat of a Vegas hero residing in town over the Summer and commands an impressive star studded following. Expect lines to enter these events at well over 2 hours followed by a 45 minute wait at the bar and wall to wall smiles. Whilst Sunday still boosts the dance music heroes this part of the weekend also gears towards a music festival vibe featuring the likes of Scotland’s Calvin Harris at Hakkasan, Puff Daddy at Rehab, Macklemore at Surrender and the biggest DJ right now, Avicii at XS. All the top venues will be competing for the crowds’ attention and attendance. One notable event this year will be Eclipse at Daylight Beach Club located at the Mandalay Bay. Opened last year, Eclipse is a nightime pool party and back based on a successful 2013.
