Northrop beats on earnings, lifts 2014 outlook

WASHINGTON, April 23 (Reuters) - Northrop Grumman Corp on Wednesday reported a higher-than-expected quarterly profit despite a drop in sales, and the U.S. weapons maker raised its earnings forecast.
