Alcoa (NYSE:AA) announced today that Alcoa Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer William F. Oplinger will present at the 31st annual Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Metals, Mining and Steel Conference being held May 13-15 in Miami Beach, Florida. Oplinger will speak at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 13. He will discuss Alcoa's transformation to build out Alcoa's value-add businesses and capture demand in growing markets, while lowering the cost base of the company's commodity business to improve profitability.
