Step by Step, TVGN Fires up Fans of NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK as Production Begins on the New Original Reality Series “ROCK THIS BOAT”

Fueled by free-spirited fun and fandom on the high seas with one of the most wildly popular and best-selling boy bands of all time, ROCK THIS BOAT: NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK is a new eight-episode reality series from TVGN (TV Guide Network) that begins production today from New York Pier 90. A first-look trailer is now available online at: http://www.Facebook.com/RockThisBoat.

ROCK THIS BOAT: NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK will follow die-hard fans of the band—also known as "blockheads"—and their personal journeys on-board a five-day cruise as they live out their boy band fantasies. For the first time ever, cameras will take viewers behind-the-scenes of New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) cruise as nearly 3000 sea voyagers take a vacation of a lifetime.

Multiple groups of fans will be featured during the series, including: a pair of Seattle-based sisters with a room back home devoted to their NKOTB memorabilia and who vow to do anything to get close to the band while on the cruise; an over the top Ohio mother leaving her husband and kids behind for some wild fun in the sun; an excited bride-to-be boarding the cruise with both her fiancé and bridesmaids in tow with the hopes of having her dream wedding officiated by Donnie Wahlberg; and a group of kilt-wearing Scotsmen who are looking forward to setting sail with a boat full of women.

Lives are set aside and intense planning commences as these fans get ready to relive their glory days with NKOTB on a cruise from NYC to Bermuda. The featured fans will be filmed at all hours, rocking out to NKOTB live performances and participating in the cruise's many theme nights: The Masquerade Ball, Cowboy Up! Party, Night at the Movies and The GPS United Nations Party. The fans participating in the filming of the show will be followed by more than 50 members of the production crew, who will be capturing all of the antics and everlasting memories on-board.

NKOTB is one of the best-selling bands in music history, boasting more than 80 million albums sold worldwide. With countless sold out tours and record-breaking #1 hit songs, the wildly popular cruise has sold out five years in a row.

ROCK THIS BOAT is Executive Produced by Julie Insogna-Jarrett and Seth Jarrett of Jarrett Creative in association with Executive Producer and NKOTB band member Donnie Wahlberg.
