Bounty of the Hudson to take place at Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery - Celebrating their 175th Anniversary!
PRLog - Jun. 26, 2014 - HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- The Shawangunk Wine Trail is pleased to announce that the Bounty of the Hudson, the Trail’s annual summer wine festival, will take place on July 26 and 27 at historic Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville. Now in its 19th year, Bounty of the Hudson is the oldest and largest annual gathering of the Hudson Valley’s wineries and producers, making it the perfect opportunity for visitors to enjoy side-by-side tastings of the Hudson River Region’s finest wines.

This year’s festival at host Orange County’s Brotherhood Winery coincides with Brotherhood’s 175th anniversary celebration. “Brotherhood, America’s Oldest Winery, is very excited to be hosting this year’s 19th annual Bounty of the Hudson as we celebrate our 175th year of continuous operation in the business and art of making quality wine. The Hudson Valley is not only rich with history and culture in the world of wine making, it also contains one of the oldest known vineyards in the country and continues to produce traditional, varietal and sparkling wines that continue to receive worldwide recognition year after year,” said Hernan Donoso, president of Brotherhood Winery. “As proud members of the Shawangunk Wine Trail, we look forward to showcasing all of Hudson Valley Wineries and quality products they produce along with our newly renovated and restored facilities as well as the largest underground hand excavated wine cellars in the country which are an essential part of everything the Hudson Valley has to offer in terms of wine, food, history, art and agriculture."

Join our celebration with up to twenty of the Hudson Valley’s finest winemakers along with several local distilleries and breweries. There will be live music throughout the afternoon, and local food producers will also participate, featuring their cuisine and artisanal products, including Honey Brook Farm, Casa Del Caciocavallo, Nobel Pies, Luna Grown Jams and TC Sauces and Marinades among others. Enjoy the live music of the Black Dirt Band while you lunch or snack at Victoria's Wood Fired Pizza Catering, Reggae Boy Cafe, "Aurora's Gypsy Cafe" Food Truck or Brotherhood's own Vinum Cafe; each will have a special assortment of goodies for purchase.

Bounty of the Hudson will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, at Brotherhood Winery, 100 Brotherhood Plaza Dr., in Washingtonville. Tickets are available at gunkswine.com.
