Student and Professor trade pen and paper in for shampoo and a business plan.
PRLog - Jul. 1, 2014 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- An average woman uses 12 “beauty” products everyday, containing about 168 ingredients toxic for the body. Our skin absorbs 60% of what we lather on. Products are labeled “natural” or even “organic” but in reality most are pumped full of toxic additives and chemicals—mercury, lead and “urea” a.k.a. "horse urine" to name a few.

Not surprising student Anais Felt and Professor Stephanie Milanowski have done their homework—they’re quick to name those hard to pronounce toxins and the harm most consumers ignore. Anais and Stephanie are co-founders of www.milafelt.com. They’re entering a $160 billion-a-year global industry with their sleeves rolled-up and a mission to help usher in transparent standards in an age old industry. Debuting first with Mila & Felt’s “Daily Wash” a fragrance and fragrance free shampoo. “Daily Wash” shampoo is so good you could literally drink it!” pitches Anais. “You don’t need a PhD in Chemistry to read our ingredients.”

Mila & Felt LLC are currently working and testing more products (on humans) to offer their customers. “We love what we do, we strive to keep it simple!” —Stephanie
