Harman International Industries, Inc. Analyst Notes
On June 26, 2014, the Board of Directors of Harman International Industries Inc. (HARMAN) announced that it has adopted an annual cash dividend policy pursuant to which the Company will increase its annual cash dividend to $1.32 per share. HARMAN informed that the annual cash dividend will be paid quarterly at $0.33 per share, up 10% over the prior quarterly rate of $0.30 per share. The agreement states that SPT will own and operate the 16 ad-supported channels in CSC's portfolio, subject to regulatory approval. "The acquisition of CSC further demonstrates our commitment to the UK market and our intent to continue to grow our tremendously successful global portfolio of networks," said Andy Kaplan, President of Worldwide Networks for SPT.
