Media Alert: Ethernet Alliance to Participate in Lightwave Optical Innovation Summit

The Ethernet Alliance, a global consortium dedicated to the continued success and advancement of Ethernet technologies, today announced its participation in the Lightwave Optical Innovation Summit on July 14-16, 2014 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas. Ed Murphy, JDSU, will moderate a panel titled “Innovation Pathways for Ethernet” on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 3:15-4:00pm. The panelists representing Ethernet Alliance member companies include: Greg McSorley, Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH; Guylain Barlow, JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU); and Robert Blum, Oclaro, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCLR).

WHAT: Ethernet Alliance will be presenting at the Lightwave Optical Innovation Summit. The panel will cover the current work on 400 Gigabit Ethernet and the role of optical communications technology in furthering Ethernet. The Lightwave Summit brings together thought leaders from the optical networking field to exchange views and discuss innovations required to meet challenges in this field.
