  • Beat the Street: Shares of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) were down marginally in premarket hours on news that the company matched second-quarter profit expectations of $1.01 per share. The company announced that quarterly revenues of $21.1 billion beat analyst expectations of $20.8 billion.
  • Judgment Day: A Texas lawyer who is working on behalf of victims claims that as many as 5,000 people perished due to faulty ignition switches in General Motors Company (NYSE: GM) vehicles.
