PRLog - Jul. 28, 2014 - The case of People v. Arthur M. was a very poorly prosecuted case. " The police did not follow any of their own protocol, nor did they follow the law in giving my client his right to counsel." Mr. Discioarro said. After an investigation, the Manhattan DA's office agreed and dismissed all charges against the client today.
"I commned the DA for looking into this case, but the NYPD should really be trained in how to make a proper DWI arrest." Mr. Discioarro said. He went on to say that each year, thoussands of people are arrested for DWI in NYC and many are innocent. However, because many cannot afford a competent defense they end up pleading guilty.
