Curian Capital® Unveils Guidance Feature for Customized Investment Selection

Curian Capital, LLC (www.curian.com) today announced a new “Guidance” feature on its website that helps clients, with their financial professional’s assistance, match individual financial goals with a customized Curian investment strategy. The tool is designed to aid clients in completing a series of easy-to-understand questions about risk tolerance, time horizon and investment objectives, and generate a proposal based on the client’s responses.

By providing step-by-step guidance – with on-screen feedback for each client response – the Guidance feature simplifies the often complex process of selecting appropriate investment strategies. It also helps clients be more involved in the decision-making process behind the allocation of his or her investment portfolio.

Chris Rosato, senior vice president of Strategic Development, said the website functionality is an integral part of an advisor’s business. “The new Guidance feature offers financial professionals the ability to provide their clients with an in-depth overview of their individual portfolio allocations and customized risk strategies, and what they can expect from their experience investing through the Curian platform.”

Curian developed the Guidance tool as part of a larger redesign of the company’s website. The redesigned site also allows advisors and clients the ability to view all of Curian’s portfolio options at a glance and use dynamic filters to narrow the range of available strategies based on specific client objectives. This feature is another tool designed to help financial professionals easily navigate the wide range of portfolios Curian offers.

“Curian’s platform is designed to be comprehensive enough to meet the needs of all types of investors,” said Michael Bell, president and chief executive officer of Curian. “Because we offer such a broad range of investment strategies, we wanted to give advisors a precise, efficient method for selecting the best fit for their clients. The new web enhancements reflect our commitment to giving financial professionals the tools and support they need to help their clients achieve investing success.”
