The Standish will host a public whisky tasting event this coming Saturday, August 2nd 2:00-5:00pm. Everyone, with the taste or curiosity for whisky is invited to come.
The whisky tasting event will feature BenRiach’s 12 year old Sherry Wood. The single malt scotch whisky is recognized as the best available 12 year old single malt in China according to the China Whisky Guide 2013. In addition, the scotch whisky also won a Silver Outstanding Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2009. BenRiach 12 Year Old has a floral and fruity nose with hints of vanilla and honey that is balanced with wood overtones. It gives a refined finish with a little spice and some hints of melted chocolate.
