MEDIA ALERT: Aruba Networks To Provide Gigabit Wi-Fi Network for Black Hat USA 2014

For the fifth time, Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) has been named the official wireless network provider at Black Hat USA. In addition to providing 802.11ac wireless connectivity, Aruba solutions will be used to monitor, manage and resolve security risks and attempted breaches of the network.

The Black Hat USA 2014 Gigabit Wi-Fi network will be comprised of Aruba Mobility Access Switches, Aruba AP-225 802.11ac Access Points, and Aruba 7200 Series Mobility Controllers with AppRF™ technology, which continuously evaluates mobile app usage and performance and makes configuration adjustments in real-time to ensure optimal bandwidth, priority and network paths. There will be two wireless SSIDs available (a Pre-Shared Key-based network and an EAP-TLS-based network) for all attendees that will be enabled by Aruba’s ClearPass Access Management System. In addition, Aruba will utilize its AirWave Network Management System to provide end-to-end visibility and troubleshooting of the entire Black Hat wireless LAN (WLAN), as well as consolidation of all security events.
