Hong Kong, Sept 4, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global", or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 967) is pleased to announce that it won the bid of a BOT project in relation to the overall reconstruction and expansion works of Xingji water treatment plant and water supply network in Gucheng County, Hebei Province.
The project with a total planned water supply capacity of 60,000 tonnes/day will be funded, constructed and operated by Sound Global. With an aggregate investment of approximately RMB170 million, the project (including establishment of a new plant and reconstruction and expansion works of water supply network) will be constructed in two phases and the short-term water supply capacity is 30,000 tonnes/day. The water quality shall comply with the 106 standards of The Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB5749-2006), and the project, once completed, will ensure the water supply to nearly 300,000 residents in Gucheng County by 2030.
