Local Vet Hosts Party at Gulf Place for Anniversary and the Annual Beer Festival will Attract Many to Chan’s Wine World in Paradise Key.
PRLog - Sep. 3, 2014 - DESTIN, Fla. -- 30A Vet in Gulf Place will be celebrating their first anniversary this month. On September 10th at 5:30pm, visitors can enjoy a block party featuring complimentary drinks and live music by the Forrest Williams Band. Pets are welcome and contests will be held for best costume and happiest face. 30A Vet opened in July of last year and has been helping cats and dogs in Santa Rosa Beach ever since as a full-service animal hospital. 30A rentals are available nearby for overnight accommodations.
Destin’s Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 2-5pm. The annual event is hosted by Chan’s Wine World located in Paradise Key Shopping Center. High-end craft and microbrews will be featured at the festival. There will also be culinary stations set up, a silent auction, and a VIP tent. Boukou Groove will be performing live for the entertainment of the afternoon. Proceeds from this year’s event benefit Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. Their mission is to connect wine enthusiasts to raise money to benefit children in need in Northwest Florida.
Seaside, Florida’s official motto is “A Simple, Beautiful Life” and is well-known for attracting visitors year round to create lasting memories. The area boasts art walks, parks, galleries, and a variety of popular dining locations. During the summer, outdoor movies have been presented each Friday night. Throughout September, family favorite films will continue to play at the Amphitheatre lawn at 8pm. Among the scheduled movies are The Blind Side, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Miracle. Those who attend this free event can bring blankets or lawn chairs for comfortable viewing.
Each month on the third Sunday, ArtWalk on the Harbor transforms the Destin, Florida Boardwalk into a mini art district. The event stretches from AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar along the harbor showcasing area artists’ unique creations. Art, crafts, jewelry, and photography will be available to admire or purchase. This free event takes place from 11am-4pm.
