China August CPI +2%, PPI -1.2% on year

China's annual consumer inflation eased to 2 percent in August, slower than July's 2.3 percent rise, data on Tuesday showed. The August consumer price index was below analyst forecasts in a Reuters poll for a 2.2 percent increase.
